Become a Cooperative Worker-Owner

Do you have 2 hours a month? Consider joining a committee and becoming a worker-owner of IYDC. All we ask is 1 hour/month on tasks and 1 hour/month for meeting and planning. Currently we can offer worker-owners a modest hourly stipend, for those who request it. We hope you will join us!

Committees:
  • Finance: budgeting, bookkeeping
  • Communications: newsletter, social media, zine
  • Site: beautification, cleaning, store, props, city liaising
  • Partnerships: community relations and collaborations
  • Students: supporting and building IYDC student community
  • Apprentices (for IYDC apprentices only): education and training programming
  • Teachers (for IYDC teachers only): curriculum, schedule
Committee members will determine their priorities, goals, and schedule. Each committee will send a representative to IYDC's monthly Steering Committee Meeting (2nd Sundays, 5-6:30pm, currently via phone).
